Just a warning for serious cookie makers, this book has quite a few of cake mix cookie type of recipes. I don't mind them, in fact some of the are pretty creative. The recipes are simple and easy, no complicated browned butter cookie recipes.I would have really appreciated pictures and better instructions, although most are pretty simple and easy. For example one of the recipes calls for pudding mix in the cookies, not sure why, but I would have enjoyed having it explained.
Overall it has some neat and unique recipes, but is lacking in pictures and longer explanations/ instructions,

Lots of really good sounding cookies. I can't wait to try out. 😀 My only complaint is that they use a lot of pre-made ingredients, like other cookies and candy.
I really wanted to like this book,but I have to admit that I had to check the recipes with a better source of cookie recipes. Once I did, I used these changes , the cookies turned out great. Maybe you should not use this as a cookie source.
Ms. Scott shares lots of cookie recipes in this book. Chocolate chip, M&M's, and Nutella to name a few.
This will be a handy book to have when you are hungry and looking for something to do.

"Cookie Recipes" by Hannie Scott features 15 delicious sounding cookie recipes. Selections include standard choices like Chocolate Chip, Snicker Doodles and Sugar Cookies along with sure-to-be new favorites like Chocolate Carmel, White Chocolate Cranberry and Nutella Cookies.
Each recipe lists the serving size, ingredient list and complete instructions. While there is a clickable table of contents (a MUST for any ebook cookbook), I do wish the book included a color picture of each cookie along with the recipe. Overall, a nice collection of cookie recipes.
Another excellent little book by author Hannie Scott with her lovely ways to present easy to do, quick and enjoyable recipes. For a new way of easy cooking to open your mind and encourage you to try each one of the recipes included.
Highly recommended Nutella Cookies, Lemon Butter Cookies and Peppermint Cookies recipes among other but the ones we've loved the most. This book also contains a free ebook with 55 easy recipes that you can get directly from Hannie Scott publishing website.
I have enjoyed this book and do hope that you will find it as useful as I did.
I liked that this cookbook had both recipes from scratch and others that made use of cake mix, purchased cookie dough, candies, etc.. Great book to have on hand when a child tells you after dinner they have to take cookies to school tomorrow. I think it's also a great book to use while cooking with a child, introducing them to cookie making. The cookies made with the chocolate caramel recipe that uses Rollo candies are great and OMG next level awesome if you sprinkle the cookies with sea salt. There is a recipe for red velvet cookies using boxed cake mix. Two of the red velvet cookies sandwiched together with butter cream would make lovely little Christmas or Valentines mini Whoopie Pies. I'm enjoying this book and do recommend it. 4/5 rating only because I'd have loved more recipes.
A very well thought out cookbook, especially for the novice. I know this because I am one.
I am a disabled Veteran and like to try new things. This cooking is one of them.
I made the oreo creme cheese cookies and they we super, yes I toot my horn.
